Fixed Wing-Air Ambulance Service
The use of fixed wing aircraft allows Heartland Ambulance Service to readily transport patients to regional medical centers as well as specialty hospitals in major cities. Our IFR aircraft is able to fly in adverse weather conditions. These air ambulances provide safe and reliable transport of critically ill and injured patients, while providing the highest level of care available. Heartland Ambulance can offer pressurized cabins in either a Lear Jet or twin-engine turboprop. They are equipped with state of the art, FAA certified medical interiors and are staffed 24/7 with a dedicated crew. The patient and aircraft can be airborne within 24 hours after acceptance of the flight. The fixed wing service provides regional and long distance inter-hospital transports of patients throughout the United States.
